Chemical Recycling Research Working Group

The Chemical Recycling Research Working Group will meet to discuss the scope of a 2022 research project and determine next steps. This work will address gaps in industry data around post-consumer material flows, volumes, economics, and markets as pertaining to chemical recycling (all resins); data gaps will be identified through a literature review process. Interested APR members who are not part of this working group are welcome to attend.

The Olefins Technical Committee will review recent changes approved by the committee to the Design Guide and MPG Guidance; additionally the committee will identify and prioritize outstanding topics which the Continuous Improvement Team and its working groups needs to focus. As always, we will be looking for interested parties and volunteers from inside or outside the committee to lead improvement projects.

Who should attend?
Anyone who has a stake in the successful recycling of olefin, wants to better understand the nuances of designing for recyclability in olefins, and wants to participate in solving difficult technical issues.
